Spring Cleanse – Juice Fast Day 11

Quote of the Day: If you do what you have always done, you will get what you have always gotten – Anthony Robbins

Today was an extra day on the cleanse. I felt good all day. I was not in the mood for drinking much, but I made some pretty delicious juices once again. One of the important things when cleansing is to keep your mouth hygiene top notch. It’s not enough to just brush your teeth.

You’ve got to make sure your teeth and gums receive the best care as possible. Some people have asked me if green smoothies gives you green and stained teeth. Well, I would say, if you mouth hygiene is not top notch they will (and I have seen some pretty disgusting “green smiles”), but if you brush, floss and clean your mouth with proper tools, you will be just fine. Green juices and smoothies don’t stain with proper hygiene. When you detox, you will experience, that you will need to pay extra attention to your mouth. Detoxing shows in the mouth and keeping your mouth fresh and clean is key.

Here are a few items I use on my teeth, and that I can recommend.  This is what I call natural dental care and it’s a nice collection of products, that you would enjoy when you like having a clean and fresh mouth.

A good toothbrush.

My favorite toothbrush is my solar powered ionic tooth brush. A Japanese company has developed this toothbrush that uses ions to remove plaque and cleans the teeth with water alone. It works this way:  “When light is absorbed by the embedded solar panel, and you begin to brush your teeth, electrons are transmitted through the water to your teeth via the titanium oxide semiconductor.” pretty neat huh!

Ozonated clay toothpaste

This toothpaste is made from Pyrophyllite clay, which is rich in silica, electrolytes, magnesium, jojoba, zeolite, seabuckthorn, clove, peppermint, cinnamon, oregano, rose, thyme linalool, and tea tree. It does clean the mouth. It makes your teeth really smooth and clean.

Ozonated Gum Gel

It’s a combination of  oils and herbs, and is great for massaging or flossing into the gums.

Neem oil/enamelizer

Great to use as a toothpaste, but the flavor is very distinct. I do use a product, that is so nice, as it contains various herbs. Neem oil is, fungicidal and antibacterial.

My favorite is something called Yogi tooth Serum.

This is a potent combination of organic neem, cinnamon, clove, mastic, cayenne and cardamom and it keeps your mouth extremely fresh and clean. These ancient Vedic botanicals, are the yogi secret anti-bacterial, anti-viral anti-fungal agents for oral care. Neem alkalizes the gums and mouth.

Tongue Cleaner

I use this every single day, and at least twice a day when detoxing. I wouldn’t know what to do without it. It removes bacteria and soft plague in no time. You simply can’t detox or cleanse without this. The white coating on your tongue, when detoxing is a good sign of how well you are detoxing and getting rid of waste. When your tongue gets pink again, it’s a sign, that you are free of internal waste.

Dental Floss

This is a must, when you want to have a fresh mouth, clean teeth and gums.

Gum Drops

I use herbal gum drops to freshen up the teeth and gums.

Toothpaste

I personally use toothpaste without fluoride. Flouride is a highly toxic chemical and is a waste product, that has the ability to damage the brain, and associated with IQ deficits in children. If you want to learn more, you can read here.
